Hack Mars Plot Dev
Mission 21: Contact Javantea
Javantea is somewhere on Mars. We don't know where because he has been in hiding since (and long before) the UN came. We know that he is a figure of legend. It is more of a rumor, but people are pretty sure that he was on Mars for some time. If what the rumors say are true, he can throw the PKs back to Terra. He's some kind of martial arts master who fought the UN in hand-to-hand combat and won. Some of the older residents know him, but won't say anything important about him.
The player gets the great idea of spraypainting on the wall: We need a superhero, Jav.
Jav tells the player, "We don't need another superhero."
*Jav wipes a tear from his eye.
The player notices that Jav is pretty old and emotional. His eyes look solidly real. He
knows the truth.
Greetings. Tonight I made a small discovery that fixed a problem I had. It involves fonts in Linux. If you're not interested, maybe you're interested in learning Japanese. We otakus certainly like our Japanese. Yes, I am one of those guys who watches anime subbed. It helps me learn spoken Japanese and the actors are better and more realistic.
I don't know if I should be showing you yet another project, but I thought it would be interesting and exciting for those upcoming manga artists. I'm working on a 2d color raster-based manga today. If you're new to the terminology, have no fear, I shall define them right now. Raster is commonly known as bitmap. Jpeg, PNG, bmp, PNM, and the like are raster graphics. The GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, and PaintShop Pro are commonly used raster editors. Raster allows editing at the pixel level. Compared to vector graphics, which is at the shape level, raster is a lot more messy. But messy is good. There are a lot of things that a raster artist can do. I hope to explain them.
I recommend reading Winter. It's a good comic. While it doesn't seem to be updated regularly, there's quite a bit of if to be read.
